Plunge Café opened its doors in December 2004. In the short period since then, it has become one of Summer Hill's favourite destinations for great tasting espresso coffee and the finest standard of cuisine.

Runner up in the 2005 Inner West Business Awards for Best Café, Plunge Café achieved this based on its simple philosophy of great coffee, fine food and friendly service.

Plunge prides itself on having a dedicated approach to the serious business of coffee through the staffing of experienced and well-trained baristas and the use of the finest quality coffee beans. Whatever your taste buds, Plunge Café offers a delicious culinary experience for everyone. Our creative chefs present a contemporary Australian menu inspired by the rustic tastes of the Mediterranean and Middle-East, to Italian and South-East Asian flavours.

Enjoy the all-day breakfast menu which includes our traditional classic French Toast and our famous Big Breakfast, which also caters for vegetarians. At lunch, delight in our hearty signature Beef Burger or our authentic Egyptian Mezze Plate. Then there's our rich and mouthwatering, yet well-priced, dinner menu which boasts a succulent crunchy Polenta Salad or our ever popular Lamb Shanks with sour cherries and cous cous, to suggest a few.
