Council at its Ordinary Meeting on the 28 February 2006 resolved to adopt a revised meeting schedule and to dissolve the Development Approvals Committee.

The new meeting structure means that all business currently undertaken by the Development Approvals Committee (DAC) will be conducted at the Ordinary Council Meeting. And that Council Meetings be held every three weeks following the meeting on the 14 March 2006 for a trial period of 12 months.

The Council will now also conduct Public Access sessions for 30 minutes at the beginning of each Council meeting.
